• How does admission work?
  The admission process is the same as TDV India. No separate LEDNA exam. Design aptitude test, portfolio review, studio test, and personal interview at TDV. Once admitted, enrolment in the LEDNA partnership follows automatically.
• Are classes in France in English?
  Yes. All LEDNA classes for TDV students are taught entirely in English. Students join L'Ecole de Design Nantes Atlantique's industrial design programme, working on consumer goods, professional equipment, and mobility briefs. The Alliance Francaise language course, completed during Year 1 at TDV, covers conversational French for daily life in Nantes.
• What two credentials do graduates receive?
  The Bachelor of Design (Hons.) in Product and Industrial Design from O.P. Jindal Global University, UGC-approved, and the Diplome vise ayant grade de licence from L'Ecole de Design Nantes Atlantique, a bachelor-level diploma certified by the French Ministry of Higher Education.
• What does it cost to live in Nantes?
  CROUS university canteens serve meals at €1 per the French government's student support policy for all enrolled students. Housing through LEDNA's Studapart platform runs approximately €700 per month. Transport and personal expenses bring the total to around €850 per month, or well under €8,500 for the full 10-month academic year. That puts Nantes significantly below what students spend in London, Milan, Amsterdam, or Paris.
• Is a RECE Work Permit available for B.Des graduates?
  The RECE Post-Study Work Permit is available to Masters-level graduates of qualifying LEDNA programmes. B.Des graduates do not automatically qualify. Students who want to build a career in France after their bachelor can apply for the 2-year Masters separately.
• Can I do an internship in France during the LEDNA years?
  Yes. France has a defined framework for student internships, and LEDNA's corporate partner network of 1,000 companies provides access to opportunities during Years 2 and 3. Internships exceeding 44 days carry a minimum government-regulated stipend of approximately €540 per month.
• Are scholarships available?
  Yes, for all programmes. Contact TDV admissions directly for current amounts and eligibility criteria.
• What if I have difficulty getting a French student visa?
  LEDNA holds the Bienvenue en France three-star label, which includes dedicated support for international students through the visa process. TDV and LEDNA begin preparation well ahead of the France years. In the rare case of a difficulty, the academic team works with the student individually on the best available path.
• What companies do LEDNA industrial design students work with?
  Students work on live studio briefs with French and European manufacturers as part of the credited academic curriculum. L'Ecole de Design Nantes Atlantique's 1,000 corporate partner network spans consumer goods, mobility, and professional equipment.
• What industrial design specialisations does LEDNA offer?
  Consumer goods, capital goods, product design methodology, materials, and public equipment design, specifically structured for students from a product or industrial design background.
