The interior architecture courses is open to design students and is aimed at understanding the details of Interior Architecture and what all does it entail, in a period of two years.
The first semester focuses on developing a strong basic foundation with relation to color, elements, design, communication, history as well as current electives. The second semester gives an exposure to technicalities with subjects like – construction materials, structure and details, technical drawing, furniture design, lighting, services and environment perceptions – at its core.
This is followed by an international exchange semester. And finally, the last semester is directed at writing a dissertation thesis and a design project, with lectures on professionalization and management. The integrated curriculum of Interior Architecture thus encompasses the understanding of the field in an industry context.
